CREEDS-AI: CREEDS Workshop on AI Research Experience for Teachers
June-July, 2023
Computer Science Department, UT El Paso
What is CREEDS and CREEDS-AI?
CREEDS is Cybersecurity Research Experience for Educators through Data Science. For more information about the program, please see CREEDS websiteCREEDS-AI workshop aims to introduce the participants to the state-of-the-art AI and ML algorithms in developing data-driven software solutions. After introducing the basic concepts of AI-Driven software solution, we overview unqiue challenges that stem from the data-driven nature of computation. In particular, we overview the core values of responsible AI and outlines notorious challenges such as fairness, accountability, and transparency. We then introduce the participants to the state-of-the-art testing, debugging, and repair techniques to address the challenges of AI-Driven software solutions. Finally, we overview open problems in developing responsibel AI-driven software solutions.
